We follow a data‑minimization principle and process information only as needed to provide the App, keep it secure, and improve it.
2.1 Information You Provide
- Link parsing & playback: when you paste or enter a link for parsing and playback, we process the link and necessary parameters to complete the request.
- Support communications: if you contact us by email or in‑app feedback, we process the information you provide (e.g., message content, screenshots, device/app details you choose to share) to respond and troubleshoot.
- Local files metadata: when you import or manage local files in the App, we store necessary metadata locally on your device (e.g., file name, type, size, duration, thumbnails) for display and organization.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device & app information: device model, OS version, language, time zone, app version, crash reports, and performance/diagnostic data.
- Identifiers & basic network data: we may process device identifiers (e.g., system‑provided identifiers or device‑generated random identifiers), IP address, and network type for analytics, security, and abuse prevention.
- Usage data: feature interactions, page views, session duration, error codes, and similar data to improve product experience.
- Purchase and subscription information: when you purchase, renew, or restore an in‑app subscription/purchase via the App Store, we may process necessary transaction‑related information (e.g., product identifiers, subscription status, purchase/restore results) to provide entitlements and support.
2.3 Permissions‑Related Information
The App may request the following permissions depending on features you use. You can manage them in iOS Settings:
- Photos: to import media from Photos or save media to your system photo library.
- Face ID / Touch ID: to authenticate access to App Lock / Private Space. Biometric data is processed on‑device by iOS; we do not access or store your biometric data.
- Local Network: to discover nearby devices and establish connections for local Wi‑Fi file transfer/discovery features (when you choose to use them).
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide and maintain core features (link parsing & playback, playback speed, Picture‑in‑Picture, local file import/management/playback, App Lock/Private Space, etc.).
- Provide paid features and subscription entitlements (e.g., verify subscription status, grant/restore access, and provide paywalls/customer center where applicable).
- Improve safety and prevent abuse.
- Diagnose crashes and performance issues and improve the App.
- Provide customer support.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in limited cases:
- To provide the service (e.g., sending the link you provide to a parsing service to produce playable results).
- With third‑party service providers/SDKs for subscription management (e.g., purchase verification and entitlement delivery), analytics, diagnostics, and session replay/interaction analysis. We aim to minimize data collection and mask sensitive views when necessary.
- For legal and security reasons when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Third‑party services may include:
- RevenueCat for in‑app subscription/purchase management and entitlement verification.
- Umeng for analytics and diagnostics.
- Microsoft Clarity (Clarity) for session replay / interaction analytics.
5. Storage, Retention, and Security
- Most file management and Private Space data is stored locally on your device. Some features (e.g., link parsing, analytics) may involve network transmission and server processing.
- We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, such as encrypted transport (e.g., HTTPS), access controls, and secure storage (e.g., Keychain) where appropriate.
- We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
6. Your Choices
- Manage permissions in iOS Settings (Photos, Face ID/Touch ID, Local Network).
- Manage App Store subscriptions in iOS Settings (Apple ID → Subscriptions).
- Delete local data by removing files and clearing cache/records (where available in the App).
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for users who can legally enter into agreements under applicable law. If you are a minor, please use the App with the consent and guidance of a parent/guardian.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you through in‑app notice, a web announcement, or other reasonable means. The updated Policy becomes effective when posted unless otherwise required by law.
