KeepVid Support
This page provides support information for KeepVid (the “App”).
1. Contact Us
- Email: [email protected]
- In‑App (if available): Settings → Feedback
For faster troubleshooting, include: device model, iOS version, app version, time of issue, steps to reproduce, and screenshots of any error messages. Avoid sharing sensitive personal information.
2. FAQ
2.1 A link cannot be parsed or played
Try the following:
- Check your network connection (try switching between Wi‑Fi and cellular).
- Make sure the link is complete and can be opened in the system browser.
- Clear cache (if available) and try again.
- Some websites may restrict access by region, login status, or traffic sources.
If the issue persists, contact support and include the domain of the link, the error message, and steps to reproduce.
2.2 How to use Picture‑in‑Picture (PiP)
- Ensure you are on iOS 16 or later and PiP is enabled in iOS Settings (if available).
- Start playback and tap the PiP button in the player (or follow the on‑screen guidance).
- Use the floating PiP window on the Home Screen and tap to return to the App.
2.3 Playback speed
Open the player’s speed control and select a rate. Some sources may behave differently depending on decoding and network conditions.
2.4 Import and manage local files
- Import from the Files app, or import from Photos (requires Photos permission).
- Saving to Photos may prompt iOS permission requests (you can manage these in iOS Settings).
2.5 App Lock / Private Space and forgotten passcode
- Enable App Lock/Private Space in settings and set a numeric passcode (optional Face ID/Touch ID).
- For privacy and security, if you forget the passcode, access may not be recoverable.
